Chichester Marina situated just off the A259 approximately 3 miles to the South of Chichester. The marina has a pub/restaurant and access to the Harbour and the Chichester Canal, which runs to Chichester for fishing and walking.
FISHBOURNE
Famous for the Roman Palace and
museum which was discovered in 1960 and probably built in AD70.
BOSHAM
The church of the Holy trinity features in The Bayeux Tapestry.
The village has a craft centre and pub and teashop overlooking the Chichester
Harbour.
WEST WITTERING
Popular holiday resort with the best sandy beaches
in the harbour area. Be sure to visit East Head owned by the National Trust.
A popular anchorage for yachts and ideal for walking amongst the sand dunes.
ITCHENOR
Named after the Saxon chieftain Icca. A small village ideal for sailing with
access to the harbour and walking. Sailing club. Pub and boat builders. Itchenor
is also home to the Chichester Harbour offices. A foot ferry runs over to
Bosham during the summer months.
